Rama Medical College and Hospital, Kanpur established in the Year 2008 is managed by Rama Educational Society. The College is affiliated to Dr B R Ambedkar University,Agra located in Uttar Pradesh and recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC) with an annual intake of 100 seats in MBBS and 32 seats in 10 disciplines of Postgraduate studies. 

The college is situated in a beautiful landscape spread over a lush green area of 70 acres with medical college built in 25 acres housing main academic block with modern academic facilities which includes spacious air-conditioned and fully equipped 4 Lecture halls to accommodate 150 students, Examination Halls, Demonstration rooms, Departmental museums and Skill labs. Advanced and fully-equipped laboratories continually focuses on teaching, clinical practice, and research. Excellent hostel facilities with well furnished rooms, with separate boys and girls hostel(UG and PG) blocks are available on the campus. A central mess with good dining facilities is attached to the hostel. Sports and Recreational corner for UG and PG students which includes Indoor and outdoor stadiums with Cricket, Football, Basketball, Tennis Badminton and Gymnasium. Well-structured Central Library spread in a huge area with good collection of Books and Journals including Indian and Foreign Journals and back volumes are in place. The collection includes Textbooks, Atlases, Dictionaries, Directories, Encyclopaedias, Technical Reports and has an excellent facility of E- Library with separate Departmental libraries as well. Admission Process

UP NEET( Directorate General of Medical Education and Training) conducts counseling MBBS NEETUG Rama Medical College and Hospital, Kanpur

The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Uttar Pradesh will have to register themselves for the  UP NEET( Directorate General of Medical Education and Training), UP is functioning directly under the State Government admission process by filling out their application form. UP MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEETUG. Candidates who will qualify NEET UG Exam and meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form for Uttar Pradesh MBBS / BDS admission. Directorate General of Medical Education and Training DMET)counseling is conducted in Three Rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-up Round). The fourth round being the College Round, if the number of vacant seats is x, then a 10x the list of registered candidates will be sent to the college and is to be exhausted strictly in order of merit. Directorate General of Medical Education and Training UP conducts the combined (Government and Private) admissions for UP NEET-UG medical.

Eligibility For Admission In Up MBBS/BDS Counseling Conducted By UP NEET( Directorate General Of Medical Education And Training) 

• 12th or (10+2 Equivalent) with Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English for UR &  40% for SC/ST/OBC.
• Those who have qualified NEET-UG by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage will be eligible for the Admission and Counseling. Candidates should have earned a minimum of 50 percentile (40th  percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentile for General-PH) in order to become eligible for NEET 2020 counseling rounds
• AGE: He/she has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical Course.
• Upper age limit: As per Letter No. U-11022/2/2022-UGMEB, dated 09 March 2022 received from National Medical Commission (NMC), Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) regarding the upper age limit, that there should be no upper age limit as decided in the fourth NMC meeting held on 21 October 2021.

• 85% of Seats in Government colleges (after exclusion of 15 % seats transferred to All India Quota)

For all private medical colleges in UP, the state government decides its fee structure.100 % seats in private medical colleges Students from any Indian state are eligible to apply for private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. No caste-based reservation is applicable. Minority MBBS/BDS College Seat Is Reserve For Minority Students As Well As Non-Minority Students.

STEPS FOR COUNSELLING PROCESS OF UP NEET( Directorate General Of Medical Education And Training) 

Directorate General of Medical Education and Training UP is conducting three rounds of Counseling for NEET UG

1. First-Round

First-Round 

• UP state merit, NEET-UG
• College wise & category wise distribution of  seats
• Registration commences

REGISTRATION :-Candidates can apply online by visiting the website https://upneet.govt.in

• List of registered candidates for online counseling.
• Online Security Deposit

• Verification of Documents – After successful registration and deposition of the security money, a candidate needs to report to the nodal centers for verification of documents. If a candidate fails to report to the respective nodal center in the stipulated time, their seat will be given to the candidate next in line. Only after the successful verification of the documents, a candidate will be able to proceed to the next stage of UP NEET counseling 2020
• Choice filling :- If security fee not submitted by candidate then candidate will not be permitted for choice filling.

Offline Process Seat Selection Process For MBBS/BDS Counseling Conducted By UP NEET( Directorate General Of Medical Education And Training) 

1. For Government Medical/Dental Colleges -Rest fee and Original documents to be submitted to allotted college - Go to medical board at allotted college/ nodal center -Eligible for participation in 2nd round. (up gradation of seat/college)
2. For Private Medical/Dental Colleges -DD in favour of Director General Medical Education and Training UP Payable at Lucknow of remaining amount of tuition fee and original documents submit to nodal center not to allotted college -Go to medical board at nodal center -Eligible for participation in 2nd round. (up gradation of seat/college)

• After allotment, if the candidate does not complete the admission process then the security fee will be forfeited. If a candidate wants to participate in 2nd round, then the security fee is to be deposited again.
• Candidate will be provided a button of <pay tuition fee> to submit online tuition fee at the page of allotment result. The candidate has to pay Rs. 30,000/- (Rs. Thirty thousand only) in case he/she has been allotted seat of Government Institutions. If the candidate has been allotted a seat at a private institution, he/she has to pay Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rs. Two lakhs only)
