Hind Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS), Lucknow was established in the year 2009 and it is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI), Indian Nursing Council and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. HIMS Lucknow offers a total of 35 courses at the diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The institute is affiliated to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. HIMS Lucknow has a total student enrollment of 1586 and a faculty size of 305 members. The institution offers admission in the streams of medicine & allied sciences, pharmacy and sciences. HIMS Lucknow provides a variety of facilities and infrastructure to its students.

Students can easily reach the campus by hiring an auto. Chaudhary Charan SIngh International Airport is located at an approximate distance of 36 kms from the campus. The Dubagg Bus Stand is located at a distance of 35 kms from the campus. Students can easily reach the campus by hiring a cab/taxi.

HIMS Lucknow Facilities & Infrastructure

The institute offers a variety of facilities and infrastructure to its students. Separate hostels for boys and females are available at HIMS Lucknow, as well as a well-equipped gym with all of the latest equipment. HIMS facilities include a library with a large variety of books, magazines, and national and international journals. HIMS Lucknow facilities also include indoor and outdoor sports facilities for the students and a well-equipped cafeteria that serves healthy food to its students. An auditorium is also available at the college, which is used for a range of events such as guest lectures and speaker sessions. Teachers, students, and other personnel at HIMS Lucknow have access to a medical room and diagnosis centre in the case of an emergency.

HIMS Lucknow Admissions

The institute offers admissions at the diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. HIMS Lucknow admissions to MBBS courses are offered on the basis of marks obtained in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The admissions to the college for MD/MS courses are offered on the basis of marks obtained in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) (NEET-PG)  examination. The final admission of this institute is offered to students who have taken part in the counselling process, verified their documents and paid the admission fees.  

Hind Institute of Medical Sciences Admission Procedure to M.B.B.S. Course

• Apply and appear for NEET UG conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). 

• Meet the NEET UG cut off and register for the counselling process. 

• Choose HIMS Lucknow during the seat allotment process. It must be noted that NEET counselling has two types: One is All India counselling conducted by DGHS for 15% All India Quota seats and the second one is the state counselling held by each individual state medical council for the rest of the 85% of the seats.

• Candidates are granted admission based on the choices filled and seats available in the college, NEET UG All India Rank, reservation criteria and various factors. 

• Candidates are offered admission after payment of the admission fees and document verification.

HIMS Lucknow Admission Procedure to M.D./M.S. Course

• Apply and appear for NEET PG conducted by National Board of Examinations.

• Meet the NEET PG cut off and register for the counselling process.

• Choose HIMS Lucknow during the seat allotment process. It must be noted that NEET PG counselling has two types: One is All India counselling conducted by DGHS for 15% All India Quota seats and the second one is the state counselling held by each individual state medical council for the rest of the 85% of the seats.
